Materials
The choice of materials to be used in production is always done according to standards, specifications, drawings or relying on the experience of our production planning team.
Some of the usual materials used are listed below:
- Steel of almost all types and hardness (from St37 to HARDOX)
- Cast iron of all qualities, castings and forgings in general
- Aluminium alloys of various hardness
- Industrial use plastics and special plastics for food industry
- Military specifications alloys (titanium, steel, bronze and self lubricating bronze, aluminium, etc)
All materials used are according to European standards (usually DIN, ISO and EN) accompanied by quality certificates for their chemical composition and their physical and mechanical properties. Our suppliers of raw materials are usually from Germany, UK, Netherlands and Italy but also from local suppliers as well as other European countries and USA.
